So my Granddaughter Torrie went to her Pageant this past weekend and of course we took like 200 pictures LOL! I am so excited to do the pages now. My son Todd was her escort he was dressed in a suit for the formal competition. He looked so nice and Torrie was in her formal dress so pretty. The picture below is the 2 of them together and of course more pictures to come. LOL! I am such a proud mom and Grandma of course.  My daughter was beside herself. It gave a break from everyday life and a way to dream. Torrie didn’t win the Pageant but she really had fun and enjoyed the hotel pool LOL! She won a trophy for participating and was so happy to get it she didn’t care if she won. And of course we told her she did a wonderful job. She did everything she was asked to do and didn’t get scared or stumble or freeze so she did awesome.  Her Uncle Todd bought a sash and crown so she knew she did a good job. My stepson graduated this weekend from Riley School. My husband Matt is so proud, it is just one of those very special moment in your life. I got lots of pictures for scrapbook pages and some for his frame for his desk of course. Now that he is 18 I guess he has to figure out where he is going next.  So hard to decide and very hard finding a job. Hopefully he starts looking into colleges to pick up a trade.  Read more... So we made it thru the viewing for my friend that passed.  My other friend has had a couple of surgeries for the infection and it looks like it is getting better so that is a really good thing.  Her sugar is getting lower so that is even better. My daughter also had a small surgery in the middle of all this going on too. I hope this last snow storm was our last one, good gracious I want to be done with winter already. I am tryIng a videO on here, a I hope it works, it is of my grandaughter and the little boy I babysit trying to do the hoola hoop. So cute and very entertaining. This was taken on the last Spring day we had before the freak snow storm lol!! Well I loaded it lets see if it works.

This is a picture of the kids playing in the snow. They threw snowballs and built a snowman. My grandaughter Torrie and her friend Danny standing by the snowman she calls Frosty. Of Course.  It was a little too cold out to go play in it when it first snowed but we were fortunate enough for it to warm up  a couple of days later.They had a really good time. AND I got some great pictures for scrapbooking.

I hope everyone is planning a great Holiday. Please pray for all of those who do not have much.  I hope everyone is well. Please pray for those who are not. Me and my family have been battling colds, flu, virus’s and sinus infections. This has been a hard couple of months. I have gotten one of those one right after the other for the past has it is crazy do I hope this is the last time I catch something I really do not want to be sick for the Holidays. I have not been doing too many crafts either because if I have not been sick my girlfriend has or we just keep giving it to each other. I hope we can get some crafts done before the Holiday is over. We are working on a really pretty wreath but first we have to get well to finish it, then I can post a picture. The snow was a little much but I think it was really pretty out when it was snowing and then the day after but now it is just plain cold out. LOL! When the snow fell that day it covered my Bar B Q grill in a very odd way.  Here is the grill on my back deck that Tues it snowed. I call him my Snow Trooper. HA HA!!

This will be a hard year for alot of people for Christmas. I know we are having a smaller one than usual but I just want everyone to know that you are in alot of peoples prayers. To all those families who’s loved ones are over seas and those who cannot get to your loved ones because of the lack of money and the economy, hang in there hopefully with enough prayer everyone will be safe and taken care of.  I guess alot of people out there will find the true meaning of Christmas this year as they scramble to give as little material things and as much love as they have in their hearts.
