Christmas!

December 22nd, 2008 by Donna | No Comments | Filed in Arts and Crafts

So are we ready for Christmas? I hope I am. I’m done shopping and just have a few more to wrap. I can’t believe the year is almost over too. WOW! So Torrie is counting down on her calender until she gets to open her presents. She is really excited. We took her to see Santa and she sat on his lap for a long time to make sure she got to tell him everything she wanted for Christmas, it was really cute. I will have to download the pictures so you can see her.

Til next time.

He is ready for snow huh? :)

December 11th, 2008 by Donna | No Comments | Filed in Arts and Crafts

This is my little skiing snowman. Isn’t he cute? He is made out of 3 Styrofoam balls painted with the white snow paint that you can buy at the craft store. I also bought the set of skis there. His hands are sticks from the yard. And his feet are white pom poms. Tiny black pom poms for his eyes and mouth and a toothpick broke down and painted with orange paint. I made his scarf and hat out of red material.  When I made his hat I just took the material folded in half glued it made a cuff and tied a piece of string on top. He is one of my favorites. He is sad we didn’t get enough snow. LOL! So was my grand daughter Torrie is really wanting to make a snowman and snow angels. Well maybe next time.

Ready for SNOW– NOT :)

December 8th, 2008 by Donna | No Comments | Filed in Arts and Crafts

So doesn’t she look ready for Christmas.  :)  Torrie said she is ready for Santa to bring her presents.  So snow huh??!!  WOW are we ready for the cold windy snow that’s coming?  I am not but Torrie is.  She wants enough to make a snowman and do snow angels.  She is the only one in the house that wants snow.  But that would be some really cute pictures, of course I will be standing ready with the camera for the scrapbook pages that I will need to do.  :)  Sorry so short but ready for bed now.

Til next time,  Donna
