My grandbaby had a great birthday. She turned one and got toys she absolutely loves. She had her own little cake and chocolate every where. I had decorated all day and there was balloons all over and she just loves balloons so of course she just looked and said wow!

I think me and my daughter was more excited than her but that’s okay she still had fun.

Well of course there was lots of pictures taken so I probably could do just a whole scrapbook of her first birthday.

Here’s a good tip!

When I took some pictures I took some real close of the balloons and the toys so I could blow them up and use them as back ground papers or cut them out and use as an embellishment on the page.  Take some of the balloons and use those as back ground pages or even mats for the pictures. Or some of the toys and cut them out and put them on the page too.

This Friday the 21st of July, my 1st grandbaby will be 1 year old. I am so excited. My daughter is more excited than anyone. She just can’t wait to celebrate it with her and all their friends. It is just a very special moment in all of our lives right now. I of course will take a lot of pictures and will let you know how it turns out. Scrapebook pages here I come.

How about a tip.

When you take pictures at her Birthday party, make sure you have a few of just some close up ones of the balloons and the toys she gets because when you get them developed or you copy them you can make them big enough for the pages you have in your album. They will make great embellishments.

Had a 4 day weekend over the 4th and it was great. Spent it with my grandbaby of course. She love the fireworks they didn’t scare at all. I have a wedding coming up this next weekend and I have a great idea for a gift which brings me to my tip.

I am making a scrapbook for them with the pages with embellishments on them and leaving room for the pictures for the pages, like cutting the cake, the dance and the bride and groom page. It makes a great gift because even if they never scrapbooked before it will be easy for them to put together and something special to keep. It is a fun gift for both of you.
